Coorg is a district in Karnataka, which is located on the Western Ghats and it is famous for its hills and green cover. Madikheri is a town and administrative headquarters in Coorg. The visitors can stay at Madikheri and explore the tourist destinations in and around the city. These are Dubare Reserve Forest and Elephant Camp, Bule Kuppe (the Tibetan settlement), Raja’s Seat, Omkareshwara Temple, Abbi Falls, and Talacauvery and Bhagamandal, the birthplace of the Cauvery river. Coorg also has many trekking trails as well. There are a number of hotels and homestays that cater to the tourists, some of these are Spring Dale, Sarah Hills and Makandur Homestay. Coorg is famous for its unique cuisine and one can taste it at Taste of Coorg, Coorg Cuisine and Fern Tree Restaurant. The place is well connected by air, road and rail. The nearest airport is Mangalore, 135 km away, and closest railway station are Mysore, Mangalore and Hassan. To reach Coorg by road one can hire a taxi from Bangalore, Mysore or Mangalore.

I visited kerala with my mom , hus and son for 7 nights, and done munnar , thekkady and kumarakam along with cochin. Panoramic resort Munnar , Elephant court thekkady , Taj Kumarakam and Travancore court Cochin were the hotels.Birds Holiday selected hotels as per my dream..so i enjoyed trip very much...
