Holding a place of pride of the Brindavan Garden, is the scintillating dancing fountain. Hordes of people come to Illuminated dancing fountain to see the dancing and twirling water moving in an elegant ballet with colours, lights and music. The movement of water is controlled by an underwater aquatic organ that is controlled by a separate device. This operator controls the pumps and valves along with light switches present on a control panel. Each valve opens into a separate water channel, and controlling these valve and the force of water allowed through each channel is regulated carefully to result in a remarkable display of dancing waterworks. The choreography (the sets of instructions and timings of opening and closing of valves and lightings) is programmed and installed in a computer and then set to an automatic play mode. The water pressure of the KRS dam runs the fountains. Recently, a laser show has also been incorporated into the fountains, using a sheet of water as a screen. The fountain is located at the Northern side of the gardens.
